To protect our guests, KATAEAN has already taken the following security measures.
1. Credit Card Security
We have discontinued online credit card payments as a security measure.
Reservations can now be made without entering any credit card information on our website. This measure is intended to prevent credit card information from being stolen or leaked.
2. Additional Measures to Protect Personal Information
Until now, guests making accommodation reservations or other online bookings have been asked to enter their full name, address, telephone number, and other personal information at the same time.
Starting today, we are introducing an additional security measure.
You may now enter your initials instead of your full name when making an initial reservation.
Please note that all other information, such as your address and telephone number, must still be entered accurately as before.
After submitting your reservation, you will receive an automatic confirmation email.
Please reply to that email with only the following two items:
- Reservation date (e.g. accommodation check-in date): Month / Day
- Your full name
Once we receive your reply, KATAEAN will send you a separate email confirming your reservation.
By collecting your name separately from your other personal information in two steps, we aim to reduce the risk of personal information being leaked as much as possible.
